FMG Construction’s Guide to Sustainability

FMG Construction Development is dedicated to sustainable building standards and have the track record of projects that reflect this dedication. Below we’ve outlined some of the most essential tips that we use throughout every project in order to ensure we are doing our part in creating a more sustainable construction industry.

The first stage of FMG Construction Company's sustainability approach is to lessen the environmental impact of our projects. This includes using green building strategies such as energy efficient lighting, optimizing logistics when shipping and delivery building materials, water conservation, and recycling on-site whenever possible. Secondly, we aim to employ sustainable resources such as recycled steel or bamboo while constructing. We take pride in the fact that this helps protect natural resources and lowering our carbon footprint.

Lastly once we’ve taking all steps on our end to ensure we are doing our part, we encourage our clients who are developers, investors to consider alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, and geothermal whenever optimal; as well as using energy efficient lighting throughout the building once construction has been complete and operations within the building commence.  Many times these methods are cost-effective at the time of construction and saves the organization money as time progresses.

FMG Construction using these strategies to help ensure commercial construction projects are completed with environmental responsibility while providing safe and healthy workplaces for our construction teams and tenants and visitors of the building. Through our commitment to sustainability and the protection of natural resources, we take pride in our positive contribution. For more information on our commitment to sustainability, click here.
